HI-TIVITY is a gamified productivity app concept for college students with ADHD. The goal was to design a progression system that makes task follow-through feel structured, rewarding, and easier to maintain day-to-day.

Most productivity tools assume consistent routines and strong executive function. ADHD students often face time blindness, fluctuating motivation, and deadline stress. The challenge was to create a calm interface that supports task initiation and sustained use without relying on willpower alone.

Scalable UI patterns and gamification mechanics were paired with academic task structure to reduce friction and reinforce momentum. A modular system was built to keep layouts predictable, with progression tied to tasks, streaks, XP, and VC rewards. Core flows were designed across onboarding, planning, focus mode, and community accountability, with decisions mapped to ADHD-informed UX patterns and accessibility best practices.

OUTCOME:
The concept established a repeatable workflow that helps ADHD students follow through by turning coursework into a clear loop (plan, focus, complete, reward). Because the system is organized around courses and predictable patterns, it can repeat each semester without changing the workflow. Short feedback cycles through XP, streaks, and VC keep momentum visible and support re-entry after missed days, with personalization and community accountability included as optional layers.

How success would be measured: time-to-first-task completion, focus sessions per week, weekly task completion rate, streak persistence, and return rate after a lapse.
